Enerlyte 10 sachets orange flavoured
Oral correction of fluid and electrolyte loss in infants, children and adults. The product has been formulated to treat fluid and electrolyte loss associated with acute dehydration in infantile diarrhoea, but is also appropriate for the treatment of older children and adults. Gastrolyte is also indicated for the correction of dehydration due to traveller’s gastroenteritis
and vigorous and prolonged exercise.
Enerlyte: dosage depends on age and weight of patient. Use strictly as directed on pack.
Enerlyte (per sachet): glucose 3.56g, potassium chloride 0.30g, sodium acid citrate 0.53g, sodium chloride 0.47g. Nodia: loperamide hydrochloride 2mg.
Enerlyte: dilute only with water, make up to specified strength only. Nodia: Acute inflammatory bowel disease, antibiotic associated colitis, diarrhea associated with enterotoxin-producing bacteria, dysentery, liver disease, infants, young children, intestinal obstruction.
