HA in the Skin
As we age, the HA content in our bodies naturally decreases. One way this decrease manifests is from UV radiation which breaks down collagen fibers causing wrinkles and sagging skin.
Hyaluronidase, an enzyme produced by free radicals, is an enzyme that also breaks down collagen fibers.
