Measure your temperature
Immediately after waking, place the Lady-Comp temperature sensor under your tongue. Keep your mouth closed and remain still while the measurement is taken. -
Record your menstruation
Enter your menstruation when prompted. Lady-Comp uses this information together with your temperature measurements and cycle history. -
View your daily status
Lady-Comp analyses your information and displays your current fertility status using an easy-to-understand colour system.
- Green: Not fertile
- Yellow: Lady-Comp is learning your cycle or has detected a cycle fluctuation
- Red: Fertile or possibly fertile
The device can also display cycle information including measured temperature, cycle day, forecasts and previous cycle data.

Lady-Comp’s algorithm has been developed and refined since 1986. According to the manufacturer, its technology draws on more than 10 million evaluated cycles.
A peer-reviewed evaluation reported that the algorithm correctly classified non-fertile days with 99.4% accuracy across approximately 107,000 cycles from 5,328 women.
