Does Lady-Comp require an app?

No. Temperature, fertility status and cycle information are shown directly on the device. A smartphone or cloud account is not required for everyday use.

Is there a subscription?

No subscription is required to use Lady-Comp.

How long does a measurement take?

A measurement normally takes around 60 seconds. Measure under your tongue immediately after waking and before getting out of bed.

What do the display colours mean?

Green indicates a day classified as not fertile. Red indicates fertile or possibly fertile. Yellow may appear while Lady-Comp is learning your cycle or when it detects a fluctuation.

Can Lady-Comp help when trying to conceive?

Lady-Comp identifies a fertile window and provides cycle forecasts that may help you recognise when conception is more likely. It cannot guarantee conception.

Can I use Lady-Comp to prevent pregnancy?

No. The Lady-Comp model sold by Little Sprout is intended to facilitate conception and track the cycle. It is not a replacement for contraception. If you wish to avoid pregnancy, ask a qualified healthcare professional about an appropriate contraceptive method.

Does it protect against sexually transmitted infections?

No. Lady-Comp provides cycle information only and offers no protection against sexually transmitted infections.

Is it a medical thermometer?

No. Lady-Comp should not be used to diagnose fever or replace a medical thermometer.

What batteries does it use?

Lady-Comp uses two AAA batteries. Rechargeable AAA batteries may also be used.

Can it accommodate cycle fluctuations?

The device is designed to learn from individual temperature measurements and cycle history. Yellow days may increase during the learning phase or when fluctuations occur.
