How Lady-Comp Works
Lady-Comp combines basal body temperature measurements, menstruation entries and your cycle history to display a colour-coded fertility status each morning.
Wake up. Measure. Know.
Measure after waking
Before getting out of bed, place the sensor under your tongue, close your mouth and remain still. A measurement normally takes around 60 seconds.Enter menstruation
Record your menstruation when prompted. Lady-Comp uses this information together with your temperature measurements.Read your daily status
The device analyses your information and displays your status directly on its screen.
Understanding the colours
- Green: the day is classified as not fertile.
- Yellow: Lady-Comp is learning your cycle or has detected a cycle fluctuation.
- Red: the day is fertile or possibly fertile.
Why temperature matters
Basal body temperature is your resting temperature immediately after waking. A small temperature rise is associated with ovulation. Lady-Comp evaluates this pattern over time rather than asking you to interpret a chart manually.
Building a useful routine
- Measure as soon as you wake.
- Measure under your tongue with your mouth closed.
- Enter menstruation accurately when prompted.
- Follow the supplied instructions when illness, disrupted sleep or travel affects your routine.
Lady-Comp may display more yellow days while it learns your cycle or when your measurements or cycle vary.
